It is best to hire a wedding photographer about 9 months to a year before the big day because we tend to book pretty quickly and it is also the occasion to set up your engagement photos in order to get acquainted with your photographer. You will be able to use these photos for Save The Date, wedding invitations, and/or decor for the wedding day :)

The best locations for engagement photos in San Diego are Balboa Park, Torrey Pines, and Coronado. Your engagement session should be a reflection of who you are. If you are the outdoorsy type of people, let's go on a hike, if you are both surfers, let’s hit the waves :)
