This past December, Vista Valley Country Club underwent a comprehensive rebranding, emerging as The Havens Country Club. This transformation was part of a $15 million renovation aimed at enhancing the club's facilities and offerings. The reimagined venue now boasts a 39,000-square-foot clubhouse, an award-winning championship golf course, exquisite dining options, tennis and pickleball courts, a spa, and a fitness center.

John and Terri Havens, owners of The Havens Country Club in Vista, transformed the former Vista Valley Country Club into a luxury destination inspired by their love of French culture and wellness. Also founders of the nearby Cal-a-Vie Health Spa, the couple has created a unique venue known for its charm, elegance, and focus on exceptional experiences.

Additionally, plans are underway for a new Aquatic Center and an onsite winery, Chateau Cal-a-Vie, featuring 20-year-old vines .

The venue features 18th-century gates and columns imported from Provence, France, antique stone windows from the 1700s L'Orangerie, and shade timbers ordered in the 1780s by George Washington .

The Havens Country Club features

The Havens Country Club offers a private outdoor ceremony site, The Wedding Garden, located just down the hill through the golf course from the Country Club. Guests are transported by golf cart to and from the site. Upon exiting the golf carts, guests are greeted by beautiful, historic iron gates (imported from France, oh la la!) that lead down to the ceremony site. The ceremony site itself looks like one out of a fairytale with a long stone path, surrounded by grand trees and beautiful scenery. The shade timbers that line the garden date back to the 1780’s! The ceremony site and giant golf course offer endless possibilities for bride and groom plus wedding party photos.

On top of being a beautiful venue, Vista Valley Country Club offers many great amenities to the bride and groom on the day of their wedding, including a bridal suite for the girls to get ready in and a library to keep the boys comfortable. The venue itself can hold up to 200 people and offers free parking to all its guests.

The Havens Country Club offers a wide selection of fine dining options for the Cocktail Hour and Reception. With four very unique menus to chose from the possibilities are endless BUT feel free to ask Chef to customize a menu meet your needs! While catering and bar come from in-house, you are welcome to bring in other vendors of choice for flowers, dessert, photo booth, DJ and more!
