Some weddings just feel good from the very beginning and Lisa & Al’s celebration at Estancia La Jolla was exactly that kind of day. 🌿
We’ve always loved Estancia in La Jolla: There’s something about this place, the Spanish-style architecture, the cozy pathways, the palm trees swaying in the breeze that instantly makes you slow down and breathe it all in. It’s elegant, but never pretentious. Romantic, but relaxed. Basically, it’s everything we love about weddings in San Diego.
The Venue: Effortless La Jolla Charm
If you’ve ever been to Estancia, you know how magical it is when the afternoon light hits the terracotta walls and golden tones start to glow. It’s got that timeless Southern California charm, warm, natural, and just the right amount of luxury.
Lisa & Al wanted something that felt intimate but fun, and Estancia delivered on every level. Guests could wander from the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception without ever feeling rushed, just surrounded by good vibes, great company, and a setting that felt straight out of a Mediterranean postcard.
The Details: Soft, Romantic, and Full of Heart
We teamed up with Aline Bichara for florals, and as always, she created magic. Think soft blush tones, airy textures, and designs that felt organic and effortless. The ceremony flowers looked like it had grown right out of the garden, pure romance.
For the reception, Wonder Rentals brought in furniture that completely transformed the space. Their warm wood tones, textured fabrics, and cozy lounge pieces created the perfect mix of elevated and inviting. Every detail felt like Lisa & Al, classic, stylish, and full of heart.
The Morning: Calm Before the Celebration
The morning was full of laughter, coffee, and sunshine. Hair & Makeup Box gave Lisa the most beautiful natural glow, she looked radiant (and stayed that way all day). One of our favorite things about Estancia is that couples can get ready right onsite, so everything flows effortlessly from prep to ceremony.
The Party: The Kind You Don’t Want to End
As the sun went down and the courtyard lights came on, the one and only Jeremy from DJ Pros took over, and that’s when the real party started. He kept the energy up and the dance floor packed all night long. It was one of those perfect evenings where every guest is smiling, the music is just right, and you can feel the love in the air.

We feel so lucky to do what we do, to plan and capture moments like these alongside such incredible people. From Aline’s florals to Wonder Rentals’ furniture, from Hair & Makeup Box’s artistry to Jeremy’s music, this was one of those days where every vendor worked in sync to bring Lisa & Al’s vision to life.
