You may already know Bali Hai for its yummy Sunday brunch, famous happy hour or signature Mai Tai BUT did you know you can tie the knot here!? If you are looking for a tropical venue for your wedding in San Diego, look no further! This Polynesian paradise should be at the top of your list! Ideally situated on Shelter Island, this local favorite will entice you with its romantic space, spectacular views of the San Diego Bay and Downtown skyline.
Discover the Bayside Garden Patio, a green gem that is THE perfect spot for your ceremony. Imagine yourself walking down the aisle surrounded by tall, swaying palm trees and tropical flowers. Say yes facing an idyllic view of the bay. The Garden can seat up to 175 people with additional space for standing room. Bali Hai conveniently provides: white folding chairs, a white cloth aisle runner and a wedding arch.
For Cocktail Hour, the outside patio is the ideal space for your guests to enjoy their signature punch while admiring the sunset on the city’s skyline. Be sure to talk to our Photography & Videography team to capture these amazing moments!
Now that you’ve said yes, it’s time to eat and dance! Bali Hai has three options to accommodate your reception:

The Hawaiian Village is an outdoor covered pavilion that is located right by the bay. This space can seat up to 140 people with room for a dance floor directly underneath the structure. It has clear plastic sides that can be rolled down and heaters in the event of inclement weather. This room can be booked from 2pm to 8 pm or from 4pm to 10pm. Additional event hours can be purchased!
The Tiki Room, located upstairs, just off the dining room, offers a more intimate private setting for up to 30 people.
All the spaces come with tables, chairs, white tablecloths, napkins, flatware and glassware so that’s one thing you can cross off your list!
